NEON GENESIS
EVANGELION:  R
ILLUSTRATED ORIGINAL FICTION

CONTEST

Hello again, everybody!  As you can see,
EVA-R online turned ONE YEAR old on March 10 . . . So, being a good
little Aoi, I've decided to put together another contest, in celebration . . .
This one's a BIT different from the first one, as you may have noticed!
This contest is for all you artists who specialize in the mechanical!
MAKE MY EVA says it all:  Now that the New EVA-R' has
been launched, I'm FINALLY GETTING my chance behind
the helm of my very own EVANGELION!! There's just
one small problem . .

I don't know what it's going to look like! ;_;

That's where you come in . . . send us an original design of the coolest
EVA you can think of, and we'll use it, in our story.  If it's REALLY good,
we'll make a CG model of it, and use it in our High-end CG movies!
Now, just to make it fair, ORBIT has decided that, if none of the entries submitted
are what they're looking for, they've agreed upon a design based on the EVA 05
series. . . so NO entries based on the Unit 05 design scheme will be accepted
(it's for the best, they promise . .hmmph!  Please make me something better!  I
don't want an Evangelion with big lips and a funny head!*_*)

Also, The EVA does not need to have wings (in fact, I prefer it that way . . I hate
heights . . .^_^;) so it is not necessary to incorporate it into the design . . . and lastly,
they ask that you keep in mind that it must not look too different from the
previous 6 Evangelion series . . . after all, we want to preserve continuity!
(And I don't wanna look wierd, you know *-*).
Here is an example of one of the designs they tossed around.
You can tell it's old, because the EVA's designation is unit 14 instead of unit 07.
It was eventually set aside, though, to give you a chance to let the creative juices
FLOW

Remember to submit all entries
to [email protected] if a winning design is chosen, it will be
used in EVA-R', and of COURSE attributed to the artist (or artists) that created it!
GOOD LUCK! Make Me Proud!!
